SECTION A:  OLD CHURCH AND RUINS

 

This section is made up of the nave of the old church dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The section includes; excavated ruins, archaeological finds and architectural elements.

 

 

SECTION C: LANDSCAPE OF WAR AND SHELTER

 

This section recounts the story of life underground during the war period. The undercroft and magazines were converted into public war shelters where people lived and prayed.

 

 

SECTION D: ARTEFACTS

 

The old priory and church had some artefacts which survived the earthquake and WW II. The artefacts are elements which tell the story through marble, maltese stone and pottery.

 

 

SECTION F: CREATIVITY SPACE

 

This area is dedicated to the community and an area reserved for local artists and artisans to sustain all forms of artistic expression.

 

SECTION G: CREATIVITY SPACE

SECTION H: REFLECTION & CRETIVITY SPACE

 

The recovered and restored side chapel from the 17th-18th century is a multi-purpose are dedicated mainly for reflection and creativity through prayer.

 

SECTION B: URBAN LANDSCAPE

 

This area explores the the changes in the context of the church and priory and the physical and social changes within the Parish boundaries.
