THE FOUNDATION WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2014  IS A REGISTERED VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION.

IT IS DIRECTED AT EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ADVANCEMENT.  

THE BOARD IS MADE UP OF VOLUNTEERS: Perit Joseph Bezzina (Chairman); Dr Edward Debono (Secretary);

MOST IMPORTANTLY IS THE TEAM OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR; COLLECTION CARE,  MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP. THEY ARE ALSO GUARDIANS AND CUSTODIANS OF THE VARIOUS COLLECTIONS WHICH THE AUGUSTINIAN COMMUNITY IN THE VALLETTA PRIORY IS NOW SHARING WITH THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE INTERPRETATION CENTRE.

The Foundation was established to encourage further education in the community, organise cultural activities and organise activities aimed at the conservation of its heritage assets and promote research, regenerate and restore the architectural fabric of the site through community-based partnerships.
